Knitted chair | Luflic

The chair ‘In the Round’ is upholstered with one endless knit sleeve, using fifteen meters/ fifty feet of wool, that has been felted. The basis is a tabular steel frame, that is formed in one continuous line closing in a loop. It’s still shaped in a way that it’s comfy to sit on.

The chair is not manufactured anymore. It was the creation of the former Toronto-based design company Luflic, founded by the Canadean duo Brent Cordner, a creative director and David Kral, a director of research and development.
