Large-scale flock-carpet | Christien Meindertsma
Dutch artist and designer Christien Meindertsma created a hand-knitted large-scale flock-carpet using yardstick-length knitting needles, consisting of smaller hexagonal components, each made from 3,5 pounds of wool of a single sheep. In this video she explains more of the work she created for ‘The Design for a living world exhibition’ brought to live by ‘The Nature Conservancy’.
